Several FarPoint Media (FPM) shows captured the top honors at the 2008 Parsec Awards held August 29-31 in Atlanta, Georgia. The following FPM offerings won their respective categories:

Best Speculative Fiction Magazine or Anthology Podcast — “Variant Frequencies”

Best Speculative Fiction News Podcast — “Slice of SciFi”

Best Writing-related Podcast — “Adventures In Scifi Publishing”

Many FPM podcasts and vidcasts were also nominated in the 13 different categories.

Several personalities associated with FarPoint Media as contributors are friends were also honored with awards including Mur Lafferty, Scott Sigler, Tee Morris and Earl Newton.
